EPT Vienna

Vista di Vienna dal mio hotel

Sto andando a Vienna dove parteciperò all'European Poker Tour. L'ultima volta che un EPT ha preso luogo a Vienna è stato 3 anni fa ed è la prima volta che visito questa città. Vienna è considerata una delle città più belle al mondo! Il torneo si svolgerà all'interno di Holfburg. La prima domanda che ci si pone è: ma si può giocare a Poker all'interno di un palazzo imperiale? La risposta è si!

Sono molto eccitato di visitare una nuova città ma al tempo stesso di giocare in una location così speciale. Ho prenotato il mio soggiorno a Vienna dal 19 al 29 Marzo e dividerò la camera con Salvatore Bonavena, un buon amico e unico italiano ad avere vinto un EPT in 10 stagioni :)

20/03 - Eureka Main Event - Day 1B € 1,000 + € 100
22/03 - Eureka High Roller - Day 1 € 2.000 + € 200
24/03 - EPT Main Event - Day 1B € 5,000 + € 300
27/03 - High Roller - Day 1 € 10,000 + € 300

La sala del torneo dentro Holfburg, il palazzo imperiale

I'm going to Vienna where I'm gonna play the EPT. Last time an EPT was in Vienna was 3 years ago and this is the first time for me in this wonderful city! Vienna is recognized as one of the nicest city and it is ranked #1 in many tourism ranking and not only. The tournament location is amazing: Holfburg. You can of course ask your self: "Is it possible to play a poker tournament in a royal castle?". The answer is Yes!

I'm really excited to discover a new city and I think it will be amazing to play in a so cool location!

I booked my travel from 19^th to 29^th March and my travelmate will be Salvatore Bonavena, who is the only italian who won an EPT but also a funny guy :)

This is my tournament schedule:

22/03 - Eureka High Roller - Day 1 € 2.000 + € 200
24/03 - EPT Main Event - Day 1B € 5,000 + € 300
27/03 - High Roller - Day 1 € 10,000 + € 300

Riassunto tornei giocati:

From Malta to Venice!

Si è concluso da poco il torneo live di PlanetWin365 a Malta e nemmeno due giorni a casa che già mi ritrovo sopra un aereo per andare a Venezia dove giocherò il day1b del WPT Main Event.

Il torneo a Malta è andato bene, in tutti i sensi:

• Ho raggiunto il Final Table, piazzandomi 9^th. Fare risultato è sempre una soddisfazione agonistica per ogni giocatore di poker, se si aggiunge che era un torneo con più di 300 entries ed era il torneo di PlanetWin365 il risultato acquista un valore in più! La struttura del torneo è stata semplicemente perfetta ed ha permesso in tutti le fasi del torneo di poter esprimere il miglior gioco.
• Mi sono divertito. L'atmosfera che si è respirata durante tutto il torneo era quasi paragonabile a quella di un home game tra amici con la differenza che la maggior parte dei partecipanti erano giocatori che spesso si sfidano online su PlanetWin365 e che per l'occasione si erano in gran numero qualificati con uno dei tanti satelliti online e live che hanno preceduto l'evento. Ho inoltre incontrato tanti amici e colleghi sia tra i giocatori che tra lo staff dell'organizzazione il che ha reso l'esperienza ancora più familiare e rilassante.
• La location è stata stupenda. Malta è sempre un posto eccezionale per giocare a Poker. Era il primo torneo che giocavo da "residente", scendere da casa e fare 20metri a piedi per andare a giocare il torneo è stato molto divertente!

Il prossimo torneo live di PlanetWin365 sarà sempre a Malta a Novembre (subito dopo il BattleOfMalta) e vi consiglio di preparare già la valigia perchè sarà un freeroll da ben €100.000 in regalo!

Domani invece giocherò il day1b del WPT di Venezia. Sembra strano ma è solo il 2^nd WPT di sempre che gioco. Per via degli impegni di grinding online non ho mai avuto il tempo di partecipare assiduamente a questo circuito, ma con l'anno nuovo mi sono promesso di cercare di giocare più tornei possibili. Il WPT è pur sempre uno dei circuiti di Poker più importanti al mondo e cercherò di giocarne altri nel corso dell'anno.

The PlanetWin365 live tournament in Malta has just finished and after a few days at home I'm now ready again for the next live tournament! I have just arrived in Venice where I will play the WPT Main Event.

Planetwins365's tournament in Malta has been amazing, for many reasons:

- I reached the Final Table, finishing in 9th place. To make a deep run is always happy news for any poker player. But I'm very satisfied because it was a tournament organized from my main sponsor with more than 300 entries. The structure of the tournament was just perfect and it helped me to play a good poker during all 3 days. - I enjoyed it. The atmosphere of the tournament was very relaxing and I met a lot of nice new players, especially a lot of online qualifiers who won the package for the tournament. I also met many friends and a lot of guys from the staff which made the experience even more relaxed and friendly. - The location was perfect. Malta is always a great place to play poker. It was the first time I played a tournament as "resident". Walking 20m from where you live to play a poker tournament is awesome!

The next PlanetWin365 event will return to Malta in November again (just after the Battle Of Malta) and I recommend you to plan the trip already now, because it will be a massive € 100,000 freeroll gift!

Tomorrow I'll play the day 1b of the WPT Venice. It's only the 2nd time I play a WPT. I've never had time to attend this circuit because of online grinding. But WPT is one of the most prestigious Poker circuits in the world and I will try to play more WPT during the year.
